I love the outdoors, and some of my favorite activities include hiking in the wonderful areas in Southern Utah, camping in the mountains and anywhere else that I can find, gardening, and spending time with my wife, children, and my dog. I have a passion for the arts, and have been working on my piano skills since a young child, a coping skill I use on a regular basis.
I strive to create a safe, comfortable, nonjudgmental environment where patients can feel free to explore personal issues that are creating difficulty in their personal, professional, and/or family lives. Together, we can work to build understanding, change behaviors, and overcome obstacles to gain a sense of control and freedom. My professional experience has allowed me to work with a diverse population of individuals in a variety of circumstances, and helped me build empathetic understanding for all people in all circumstances. I have also explored and gained training in a variety of therapeutic modalities to help me meet patients where they are and tailor each session to the individual being treated. Specific modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, DBT, Solution Focused, EMDR, and Brainspotting.
